Worship & Movement w/Purpose (Age 12-18)

Service Description

Worship & Movement with Purpose Foundations is a Christ-centered dance and movement class focused on expressing worship, prayer, and praise to God using our whole being (body, heart, mind, soul, emotions, and strength). Through purposeful and prophetic movement, students will explore a variety of dance styles and fusions (e.g., interpretive, liturgical, jazz, ballet, latin etc.) to communicate biblical themes and inspire others with God-honoring illustration and storytelling. Classes are set to Christian music with strong Scriptural foundation and aim to cultivate joyful worship, expressive movement, and spiritual growth. Students will also incorporate visual arts, worship garments, and dance instruments (such as flags, banners, scarves, ribbons, tambourines, etc.), some of which they may create themselves, fostering both creativity and hands-on engagement as they “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.”
