Singers - Vocal Ensemble (5th - 12th)

Service Description

This vocal ensemble is designed for those youth who seek to learn and grow in the gift of singing with the purpose of glorifying God, our creator. Youth singers will develop a high level of versatility across multiple genres. Weekly rehearsals will focus on healthy vocal production, technical warm-ups, building foundational musicianship (sight-reading, theory) and a repertoire of diverse music. Music selections will be a range of contemporary and classical pieces with emphasis on Christian music. Choral works will include a cappella arrangements and show choir selections (with light, staging/movement). Students will develop microphone technique, blend, and performance skills for both stage and community performances.
